Practice Manager
Kathy Congdon
Kathy's role is to keep the whole surgery running
smoothly, whether it be a financial or clinical matter. You
may contact Kathy about non-clinical aspects of your
healthcare or a matter involving the surgery if you wish to
make a comment on your experience in the surgery.

Reception Manager
Pat Cowling
Pat Cowling
is our Reception Manager. This means that she keeps
reception running smoothly, makes sure training has been
undertaken and that all receptionists work together as a
team. She's often found trying her best to organise the
reception rota around everyone's personal commitments!

IT Manager
Graham Ray
From building this website, to focusing on direct patient
care and trying to fix computer problems (though usually
making them worse!) pretty much anything IT related lands on
my desk!

Healthcare Assistants
Hannah Williams, Sharon
Hart, Sharon Frost
The
Healthcare Assistants are here to help you with your day
to day healthcare. You will meet a Healthcare Assistant
if you require your blood taking, need to have a quick
height and weight check or need help with day to day
healthcare.
You may
not have heard of Healthcare Assistants before and may
see them in differing roles in the surgery, but rest
assured they have been through intensive, out of surgery
training and are all qualified Health Assistants.

Admin Team
Our Admin
Team is made up of Clerical, Secretarial & Administrative
staff. Not only will you find them munching on biscuits and
drinking copious amounts of coffee and tea, but you will
also find them working behind the scenes, keeping everything
running smoothly. From typing letters, to entering clinical
data, organising the doctors schedules to sending out the
letters you receive.

Reception Team
Our
Reception Team are a hard working, dedicated team who
will do their very best to fulfil your requests.
They carry
out a variety of duties and never have a minute to
spare! From answering the phones and dealing with both
patients and healthcare professionals, making
appointments, dealing with your test result requests,
reception are usually the first port of call, for both
our patients and the GPs!
Polite
reminder:
Please bear in mind that receptionists are carrying out
their duties as per their contract with the surgery. If
a receptionist advises that she cannot help any further
with your query, this is not because he/she does not
want to, but because they are not allowed or do not have
the means to help you any further. Receptionists,
although having basic medical training, are not doctors
and cannot tell you exactly what your blood test result
means unless a GP has instructed them to do so.
We are also noticing an increase in verbal abuse towards
our receptionists. We run a Zero Tolerance policy on
violent and abusive patients. If you are found to be
abusive or violent towards reception or any member of
staff, you could be struck off our list.
