Dr Andy Freeman

Andy joined the practice in 2012, having previously been a GP Partner up North. He considers himself fortunate to have such an interesting, varied job in which two days are never the same. Andy’s experience of Primary Care has cemented his desire to be a true generalist, but within that he has some specific areas of interests: he performs a wide array of steroid injections as a treatment modality in musculoskeletal disease; dermatology; and end-of-life care. Andy is the practice Education Lead and enjoys introducing medical students to Primary Care and enabling trained doctors to become fully-fledged General Practitioners.
His 2 lads and 2 year old daughter keep him busy and ensure Andy will be working for a good few years yet.
